Privacy Policy for Anshin Meet Chat

Anshin Meet Chat is built for focused meetups and group chat on your iPhone. This page explains what the app may access, what stays on your device, and what we never monetize.

Last updated: May 19, 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Anshin Meet Chat mobile application distributed on the Apple App Store and to the public content endpoints served from this website. It is intended for people who use the app and anyone reading this page in a browser.

What We Collect

Anshin Meet Chat does not ask you to register with a name, email, phone number, postal address, government ID, or payment card to use its core features.

Text you type, room names you choose, and other content you create inside a meet or chat session are kept for your session experience. We do not mine that material to build advertising profiles or resell it.

When the app loads shared copy — such as onboarding slides, placeholder labels, or starter tips — it may fetch read-only JSON from this site’s API. Those responses contain generic app text, not the content of your private conversations.

Permissions and Technical Data

To run meetups and voice or video chat, Anshin Meet Chat may request standard iOS permissions such as the microphone or camera when you start a call or share media. We only ask for access when a feature you invoke needs it, and we describe the reason in the system permission prompt.

The app also uses local storage and network access for syncing optional remote content and delivering messages within a session. We do not request contacts, photo library, or location unless a future, clearly labeled feature requires it and this policy is updated accordingly.

Limited technical metadata — for example app version or crash reports if you choose to share diagnostics with Apple — may be processed under Apple’s own privacy terms.

Service Providers

Hosting and content-delivery partners operate this policy page and our public API routes. They process connection logs and traffic data needed to keep the service online, under their respective privacy practices.

If we introduce optional analytics or customer-support tooling later, we will list it here and limit collection to what is strictly required for that purpose.

Children

Anshin Meet Chat is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child submitted personal data through the app, contact us via the App Store support channel and we will help address removal where we can.

Retention and Security

Conversation history and room settings you keep in the app remain under your control. You can clear threads inside the app, leave rooms, or remove the application entirely to delete locally stored data.

We apply reasonable safeguards to our hosted pages and APIs. No online service can guarantee absolute security; avoid sharing information you would not disclose in a live meetup.

Your Controls

You may stop using Anshin Meet Chat at any time. In iOS Settings you can revoke camera, microphone, or network access for the app if you prefer text-only or offline use where supported.

For questions about access, correction, or deletion of data we manage, use the support contact published on the app’s App Store listing.

Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy when features change or legal requirements shift. The “Last updated” date above will reflect substantive edits. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent allowed by applicable law.
